‘I love working with flowers all day long. At home and at work, I breathe flowers. I do consumer research, keep a close eye on trends and create mood boards. I don't focus on price or supply, but on consumer demand and wishes. I start at the computer designing bouquets and then start working with my hands. In my collections, I try to match single-stem and mixed bouquets seamlessly. Seeing a design I have in my head come to life in a vase: that's what I enjoy most.’

‘I grew up in a family of real gardeners, so I definitely have green roots! I started out by processing orders, but when a spot became available in the product development department, I didn't hesitate. Working with my hands, letting my creativity flow and collaborating on new plant creations with the grower: that is what I love most about my work. I research the plant market for my customers, look out for the latest green trends and keep an eye on the competition. I collect the most beautiful plants and create special plant arrangements, from traditional to trendy. By responding to seasons and working with constantly new themes, my work remains fresh and challenging.’

‘For every retail customer or supermarket chain, I look for the best growers. I buy plants directly from the grower. I believe in the power of long-term relationships. Working closely with growers only makes products better. I am a perfectionist and I finish my workweek in just forty hours. But I don't mind that, because it doesn't feel like work. Calling, making offers, negotiating, checking deliveries...; no day is quite the same. And I like it when everything goes as it should. But even if a problem emerges, it also feels very satisfying to find a solution. In the end, everything always works out.’
